Where is Tarti Beach?

Tarti Beach lies in the Gera area of southern Lesvos, around 34 km southwest of Mytilene. It sits below green hills, opening onto the Aegean Sea. The coast combines sand and small pebbles, with tamarisk trees along parts of the shore.

What is the beach like?

The sheltered setting, clear water and green hills make Tarti a memorable place to swim or spend a relaxed afternoon. During the main summer season, you may find umbrellas, sunbeds, places to eat and other beach facilities. Availability and operating arrangements can change with the season, so do not assume every service will be open on your visit.

How do you reach Studios Elena?

You can approach Tarti Beach by road, but there is no road directly to our rooms on the beachfront. Park at one of the accessible ends of the beach and continue on foot along the shore. The accommodation is on the first floor and can only be reached by stairs. Please contact us before arriving if you would like help planning your approach.

What should you know about the rooms?

Studios Elena is a small, family-run property with two sea-view rooms that have private balconies and one mountain-view room with a balcony that staff may occasionally access. Each room has two single beds, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a private bathroom and a compact kitchenette with a small refrigerator. Breakfast is not provided.

What else is nearby?

The Gera coastline includes smaller coves such as Tsilia, Ligonari, Tsafi and Fara. Some are more remote than Tarti, and access and facilities vary. Ask locally about current conditions before heading off, and bring drinking water and sun protection when exploring.
